With the clock showing 37 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of football resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by H. Al-Qasem in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. It was 2 - 2 at the break. Bubi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

The head of O. Zadok connected with a corner kick after 66 minutes, and the ball ended up with A. Snitkovsky of Bubi who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 3 - 2. With 69 minutes played, Bubi put themselves up 4 - 2 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to B. Nimni, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
