YAYA displayed their ability to play creatively. Active seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 10 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from J. Junni, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Y. Kulessa of YAYA was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Active were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. It was obvious that team Active had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. Coming through the middle V. Merico almost scored the equaliser for Active after 20 minutes, but A. Eitel made an excellent save, tipping the awkwardly curled shot past the post. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Active had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

A. Eitel left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. D. Cassia was the replacement. With 52 minutes played, YAYA put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to J. Junni, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 59 minutes, Active tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. One of many good crosses from B. Vian on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by J. Junni, who scored for YAYA. 3 - 0 This third goal completed a hattrick for J. Junni. With 66 minutes gone, YAYA had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, S. Georgescu did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. The referee showed YAYA's J. Junni the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. K. Dziech could've grabbed a goal for Active 72 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. YAYA's V. Smrčka got himself booked for a foul. Active enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

YAYA's top performer was clearly J. Junni. D. Noè was a disappointment, however. R. Jaumot performed admirably for Active. However, N. Parenti made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
