Fernandez, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 1! O. Tebben's lightning pace was too much for V. Anfuffo who could only look on as the Superheroes player blasted one home. 0 - 2. H. Ferrari received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 35 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Superheroes fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. By now, the players in Superheroes felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. The home crowd was not impressed when S. Bajusz came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 36 minutes. Superheroes were now up 0 - 4. Líbertadores's R. Mahathir was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 41 minutes. R. Bertho increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. With the scoreboard showing that 43 minutes had been played, Superheroes nearly put themselves up another goal after O. Tebben came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Superheroes had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

The home keeper was stunned 57 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by M. Pereira and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 6. Superheroes's H. Ferrari was shown a yellow card after 70 minutes for slicing down an opponent. C. Adamo of Líbertadores received a yellow card after 73 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper P. Skarga and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Líbertadores, but T. Jung's finish was way too lame. Superheroes increased their lead after 82 minutes when O. Tebben broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. 84 minutes into the game, Líbertadores seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Superheroes, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. After 85 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed M. Pereira to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 8. 88 minutes into the game, Líbertadores seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. Possession in this half belonged to Superheroes, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

Líbertadores's best player was S. Auksutis. S. Becatti was a disappointment, however. Most important Superheroes player was J. Fernandez. However, W. Gogolewski made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 8.
