(393854727)

08-08-2012 12.25
Dark skies made the crowd of 2276 at
Aestas SD a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Aimo Santambrogio was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Kees-Jan van Aardenne and
Benoît Cantieni.
Aestas tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Lineup: Fernández Anleo - Castberg, Souto, Junda - Galdames, Ciacoi, Ruddy, Caponis, Cabello - Caño, Sifakis.
Ac Kace started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
They fielded: Knut - Janaś, Palm, Redzisz - Klimczak, Szántai, Biskup, Bułaś, Kopacki - Selimović, Bronka.
Ac Kace had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 16 minutes in when
P. Klimczak came up alone against
F. Fernández Anleo who managed a block.
With 28 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
J. Caponis needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
After 38 minutes, Aestas's
J. Caponis fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit!
Ac Kace took the lead after 39 minutes making the score 0 - 1.
P. Bronka placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left.
40 minutes into the match, Aestas's
A. Ciacoi maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1.
After 42 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Ac Kace found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
weak.
43 minutes into the game,
P. Palm had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1.
Aestas had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.
Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Ac Kace was able to get his message across, and raised Ac Kace's organisation to
solid.
Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Ac Kace's
A. Kopacki somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for
A. Selimović, who struck for 1 - 2.
Aestas's
J. Cabello almost tied things up with 62 minutes played after breaking through on the right, but his shot deflected off the post.
63 minutes in, Ac Kace appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
inadequate.
E. Janaś wanted to play on, but the Ac Kace coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 66 minutes into the game by
S. Rura.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
F. Bułaś took over the role of being the Ac Kace captain.
P. Klimczak left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 69 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
I. Tobolski was the replacement.
The Ac Kace players could smell victory in the air.
R. Biskup wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
M. Kordowski after 72 minutes.
The visitors'
S. Redzisz took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 82 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for Ac Kace.
Possession in this half belonged to Aestas, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.
The most dominating Aestas player was without a doubt
A. Ciacoi.
On the other hand,
J. Caño's play was disheartening.
Most important Ac Kace player was
S. Redzisz.
However,
A. Selimović made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 1 - 3.
