07-08-2012 19.10
The 920 spectators at
RealZinghial Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
David Bormann was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Tomas Glansbeek and
David Berman.
Zinghiai decided to use a 5-5-0 set up.
Lineup: Pettersen - Bas, Carrozza, Filianoti, Reder, Lucu - Bordeiu, Giustra, Bizzo, Cabiddu, Iakovidis -.
Bi-Bip had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Butz - Marcuzzo, Viscusi, Da Concesio - Manciocco, Monaco, Ogrezeanu, Lollo, Perozzo - Habry, Kasančík.
Bi-Bip demonstrated their creative tactics on the field.
After 13 minutes,
G. Carrozza came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Zinghiai the lead.
Zinghiai's
Y. Iakovidis increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 15 minutes.
20 minutes into the game, Zinghiai had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
inadequate.
G. Bas sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
Y. Iakovidis after 27 minutes of play, making the score 3 - 0.
3 - 0 was the halftime score.
Possession in this half belonged to Zinghiai, who controlled the ball 85 percent of the time.
The Zinghiai players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a
solid organisation when the game started again.
C. Viscusi enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again.
Zinghiai managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when
G. Bas cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
The coach of Zinghiai was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 80 minutes,
I. Baćković came on for
G. Carrozza.
F. Cabiddu wanted to play on, but the Zinghiai coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 82 minutes into the game by
D. Cannau.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
I. Baćković took over the role of being the Zinghiai captain.
Zinghiai's
F. Bizzo had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 85 minutes having been played.
E. Grott was the replacement.
Zinghiai solidified their lead at the 86 minute mark, as
G. Giustra dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 5 - 0.
87 minutes in, Zinghiai appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
passable.
After 88 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
D. Cannau gave the Zinghiai supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 6 - 0.
After this, you could see that the players of Zinghiai were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
Y. Iakovidis could have put Zinghiai up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 89 minutes.
After 89 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Zinghiai found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
poor.
Zinghiai had most of the ball, with 82 percent of possession.
Y. Iakovidis performed admirably for Zinghiai.
G. Reder was a disappointment, however.
Most important Bi-Bip player was
F. Kasančík.
On the other hand,
G. Monaco's play was disheartening.
The match ends 6 - 0.
