After a fine move down the middle G. Burunda nearly gave the home side a goal after 67 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Many thought G. Burunda ought to have been awarded a penalty 82 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around M. Giurea after a determined run through the middle. The referee showed Pécsi's G. Beukema the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. There was concern in the stands when, at the 84 minute mark, Pécsi's M. Giurea hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. jurbol's M. Dilliën left the field after 87 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was M. Manso. jurbol's T. Navas tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. Pécsi had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

jurbol's best player was C. Hyun. However, D. Chaperón made a disastrous appearance. Pécsi's top performer was clearly D. Puhar. M. Giurea turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 2.
