Clear skies welcomed the 1135 spectators who had made their way to La Modorra. Justin de Ruijsscher was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Gaetano Gaetano and Louis Souton. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Modorros. For their match strategy, Royale had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. The guests almost went up by a goal after 35 minutes when D. Pijarczyk came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. Modorros's counterattacks created a good chance for E. Abendaño on the right after 36 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. Modorros were very close to putting themselves one up after 38 minutes as J. Mata Luque got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Royale's counterattacks were lethal to the opposing defence, allowing U. Pettersson to score easily from the right flank for 0 - 1. The referee showed Modorros's A. Bécquer the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Royale were forced into a substitution as P. Specht couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing N. Legear to come in off the bench. D. Pijarczyk was the new captain of Royale - handed the armband by the departing player. Royale's C. Melenciuc was shown a yellow card after 44 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Royale, with 52 percent of the ball.

Royale had to make a substitution after 53 minutes. M. Debreţeni limped off the field and was replaced by T. Stravopodis. J. Briuolo made several blunders at the end of the game, causing a good deal of unrest in the defensive line. D. Pijarczyk of Royale received a yellow card after 80 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. D. Pijarczyk of Royale took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 80 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. 81 minutes in, Modorros's J. Latorre received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Royale's T. Stravopodis was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 84 minutes. Royale claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

Modorros's best player was À. Buch. J. Latorre was a disappointment, however. D. Pijarczyk performed admirably for Royale. G. Grazioso on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
