Racing 1 - 1 World_Inv.
(393933664)

09-08-2012 03.00
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 2127 to
El Cilindro De Avellaneda.
Valentīns Cinis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Steffen Spur and
Jeffery Goossens.
Racing started off with a 4-5-1 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Rivero - Kiiski, Mikaelsson, Goorhuis, Ventre - Weichselbaum, Szynalski, Klima, Ezcay, Baatrup - Żyjewski.
World_Inv. had chosen a strategic 5-4-1 formation.
Lineup: Brixler - Shaan, Delgado, Al-Olaki, Kalla, Raising - Vĩnh, Mula, Mozler, Msafiri - Sharma.
Racing showed off their creative tactics.
With 21 minutes played,
M. Shaan of World_Inv. fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
After 24 minutes of play, World_Inv.'s
J. Delgado unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and
P. Sharma slotted it into the net for 0 - 1.
The crowd was on its feet 28 minutes into the match, as Racing's
J. Mikaelsson found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 1 - 1 equaliser.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 29 minute mark, World_Inv.'s
J. Delgado hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
After 32 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Racing was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options.
1 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Racing claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.
World_Inv. almost scored after a counterattack 61 minutes into the match, but
W. Msafiri took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net.
76 minutes into the game
J. Delgado could see that the opposing goalie was out of position and tried an unexpected lob that the keeper just barely reached. The rebound went to
W. Msafiri who failed to hit the target.
Racing had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.
Racing's top performer was clearly
I. Szynalski.
On the other hand,
T. Żyjewski's play was disheartening.
The most dominating World_Inv. player was without a doubt
J. Delgado.
P. Brixler was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 1 - 1.
