Clouds darkened the skies at Peseperos United Arena as 2301 spectators turned up for the match. Drãgan Iancu was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mika Rindell and Bálint Kaskötő. Peseperos started off with a 5-4-1 lineup. They fielded: Calera - Urenda, Gibson, Gazzana, Casamijana, Cernadas - Volpe, Guimera, Timor, Thomasson - Agustín.

At 26 minutes played, K. Gibson came in from the right with the intention of giving Peseperos the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 32 minutes allowed F. Ehnby to score for Stimpy. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. After 34 minutes Stimpy's H. Ehnbo contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Stimpy claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

The visitors' B. Drakfeldt took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 59 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Stimpy. The Stimpy players could smell victory in the air. P. Fogelér wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for P. Lyhholt after 68 minutes. 74 minutes into the game, J. Atance had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came D. Nyskog. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Stimpy coach let A. Forsner replace M. Jonsson after 76 minutes. 78 minutes into the match, Peseperos's S. Thomasson collected a ball sent down the right and put it in the back of the net, narrowing the score to 1 - 2. The home crowd was not impressed when G. Mossbom came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 82 minutes. Stimpy were now up 1 - 3. After 83 minutes, Stimpy's B. Drakfeldt burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4. Stimpy had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

J. Agustín performed admirably for Peseperos. On the other hand, A. Guimera's play was disheartening. Stimpy's best player was G. Mossbom. S. Rodrigues Cruz turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
