Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 2185 to SOVA - ARENA. Albert Regier was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Anders Jonassen and Agustin Rojo. NEMOCNICE had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. The following players took the field: Elben - Vaňousek, Rob - Kypta, Cetina, Meertens, Venc, Kalabis - Klouda, Vaďura, Stráník.

Gorons tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Lineup: Lemaire - Rosemberg, Penalva, Sinclair - Eidiņš, Diaz, Biavia, Dravantti, Musetto - Berkelman, de Hoop.

Gorons took a creative approach on the field. The guests almost went up by a goal after 2 minutes when R. de Hoop came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. After 23 minutes Gorons's R. Rosemberg contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Gorons's R. de Hoop managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 24 minutes. 0 - 1. M. Berkelman left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 33 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. D. Velarde was the replacement. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Gorons claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

R. de Hoop wanted to play on, but the Gorons coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by E. Panopoulos. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Gorons coach let R. Arias replace W. Diaz after 46 minutes. Gorons increased the lead to 0 - 2 as R. Rosemberg scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Gorons lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. NEMOCNICE's C. Vaňousek was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 69 minutes. The referee showed NEMOCNICE's B. Kypta the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The home crowd cheered when, after 72 minutes, E. Panopoulos's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Š. Venc got himself booked. The manager of NEMOCNICE was not happy. After 79 minutes, Gorons sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached M. Penalva, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 3. Gorons had no available replacements when E. Panopoulos had to leave the game after 84 minutes because of a pulled tendon, leaving the team a man short. Against a lesser team, Gorons could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 85 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. M. Penalva hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Gorons's D. Velarde an easy chance to knock it in for 0 - 4. After 87 minutes, Gorons were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. D. Velarde did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. Gorons had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

NEMOCNICE's top performer was clearly M. Kalabis. J. Meertens was a disappointment, however. Most important Gorons player was O. Dravantti. On the other hand, R. Arias's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 4.
