It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 938 that came out to Cedro Verde. Jussi Paturi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jimmy Frooninckx and Hugo Minvielle. The guests took the lead 4 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in M. Rafin scoring to make it 0 - 1. Cedro's C. Porzio was shown a yellow card after 18 minutes for slicing down an opponent. N. Amini Yekta was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Ognina's D. Ervin had to come off the bench. D. Ervin was, after 33 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper L. Cicuta made the save. The visitors almost increased their lead after 34 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave D. Ervin from Ognina a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 35 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 36 minutes into the game, Cedro had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to solid. H. Doeksen of Ognina took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 37 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. After this, you could see that the players of Ognina were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Cedro's R. De Blechere got himself booked for a foul. 40 minutes into the game, Cedro seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Ognina had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Cedro was able to get his message across, and raised Cedro's organisation to solid. Ognina increased the lead to 0 - 3 as P. Arnau scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. After 71 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Cedro found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, K. Andris would have put Ognina up another goal 79 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. D. Biazzo of Cedro received a yellow card after 80 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Cedro's C. Porzio found himself alone on the left side 82 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! Cedro had a brilliant opportunity to reply as D. Biazzo received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only N. Aberjel's reflexes saved him. The visitors' M. Rafin took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 87 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Ognina. Possession in this half belonged to Ognina, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Cedro's best player was D. Biazzo. However, W. Capicotto made a disastrous appearance. Ognina's top performer was clearly D. Ervin. R. Rumpold was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
