Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Rosa Osaka Stadium saw a crowd turnout of 1913.
Mohammad Tabrizi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mario Felske and
Viktor Nemchinov.
A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Rosa.
The following players had been chosen: 池田 (Ikeda) - Hoorbüdel, Willeke, Boleń - Fumy, Glos, Korsgaard, Giannatempo - 村上 (Murakami), Krasznai, 松本 (Matsumoto).
IHATOVE started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
Starters: Komasa - das Neves, Onieva, Badillo - Štědronský, Caravantes, van der Looi, Kajahara - Lytras, Ivarsson, Sobota.
Rosa showed off their creative tactics.
The wings were the focus of most of IHATOVE's attacks today.
IHATOVE's
T. Ivarsson gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 5 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
IHATOVE's
T. Ivarsson had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 20 minutes having been played.
I. Narahashi was the replacement.
Attacking on the wings was the choice for IHATOVE, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack.
With 26 minutes played, IHATOVE put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
A. Caravantes.
With 27 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
M. Onieva of IHATOVE to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3.
A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper
R. Komasa and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Rosa, but
F. Glos's finish was way too lame.
After 30 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
A. Lytras to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4.
The players of IHATOVE now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
With 31 minutes played,
T. Krasznai of Rosa fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
0 - 4 was the halftime score.
IHATOVE had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.
65 minutes into the game,
F. das Neves had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
V. Jakab.
Y. Kajahara's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert
I. Narahashi was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for IHATOVE. 0 - 5.
After 74 minutes, IHATOVE sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
V. Jakab, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 6.
Rosa had to make a substitution after 79 minutes.
F. Glos limped off the field and was replaced by
L. Strick.
IHATOVE claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.
Rosa's top performer was clearly
W. Boleń.
On the other hand,
優. 池田 (Ikeda)'s play was disheartening.
The most dominating IHATOVE player was without a doubt
A. Lytras.
However,
V. Jakab made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 0 - 6.
