After the ball was lifted in from the left, S. Jochum was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 26 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. With 29 minutes played, F. Palomino of Duff fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Some fine movement on the left led to a Perebas goal after 30 minutes, making it 0 - 2. D. Neves Dias was noted down as the scorer. The Duff free kick 31 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of F. Palomino, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 2! Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Duff's C. Alvim was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 33 minutes. K. Monte was given a chance to change things around. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Perebas, with 60 percent of the ball.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Perebas coach let L. Imhoff replace J. Silva Maia after 46 minutes. The Perebas players could smell victory in the air. É. Faria Veiga wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for O. Silveira after 46 minutes. The coach of Perebas was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, J. Vizco came on for I. Panturu. G. Fernández could have added one to the visitors' lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. K. Kjær came on, A. Feitor had to leave the fray. Duff's counterattack was impressive and was only stopped by a shocking foul. Somehow, the referee's cards remained in his pocket - a terrible decision! O. Picanço's resulting free kick was easily saved by the keeper. It wasn't a good day at all for M. Käselaus. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. O. Picanço didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play. 74 minutes into the match, D. Neves Dias came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. With their counter attack move halted 81 minutes into the game, Duff were left with a free kick. The ball is passed straight through to the other end of the penalty area, with hopes for it to reach H. Yurdakul. However, he didn't have his wits about him and the ball went out. Perebas had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.

The most dominating Duff player was without a doubt K. Kjær. However, O. Berriolo made a disastrous appearance. G. Fernández performed admirably for Perebas. L. Imhoff turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 2.
