Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 1548 at Chlösti-Arena zum güldene Humpe today. Quirijn Titulaer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Willard Churchill and Albert Argemí. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Borito. Borito's A. Weber tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. Borito had to manage with a reduced squad after 28 minutes, as A. Weber got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Strunztruppe, as A. Claro left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. S. Vugolle took his place on the field. F. Legendre caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 33 minutes. This gave Borito the 1 - 0 lead. The score became 2 - 0 at 34 minutes into the game, when Borito were given a penalty which M. Lorenzi blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Borito to 3 - 0 as M. Lorenzi finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, F. Tresch got himself booked. The manager of Strunztruppe was not happy. The home team's fans were upset when, after 44 minutes, the visiting S. Kaderli broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 3 - 1 was the score. With 44 minutes played, Borito put themselves up 4 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Lorenzi, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. That made three goals for M. Lorenzi and he was marked down for the hat trick. Strunztruppe's L. Tarnutzer got himself booked for a foul. It was 4 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Borito, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

F. Tresch's lack of experience almost gave Borito a goal after 54 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. The home team's fans were not happy with the visitors' A. Della Valle's great free kick that resulted in Strunztruppe reducing the score to 4 - 2. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. R. Albert squirmed through their central defence after 67 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 2. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Borito lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. With 76 minutes played, Borito's J. Capeau almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. R. Albert of Borito seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 6 - 2 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by M. Lorenzi. Borito solidified their lead at the 80 minute mark, as R. Albert dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 7 - 2. At that, R. Albert was noted down for a hat trick! The Borito players could smell victory in the air. F. Legendre wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for S. Klemm after 85 minutes. Borito claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

Borito's top performer was clearly R. Albert. M. Vettorazzi on the other hand, had a terrible day. D. Fusé performed admirably for Strunztruppe. S. Vugolle turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 7 - 2.
