As the game started to slip away for Debloos, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. W. M. Ziemnicki was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions. Against a lesser team, lechia could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 61 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. With 67 minutes played, M. Kącki nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. After 68 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave J. Voermans a chance to increase the lead for lechia, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 5. M. Ziemnicki tried to get a goal back for Debloos but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. lechia focused on finding shooting opportunities from distance and after 72 minutes M. Kącki fired off the big cannon, but the shot went sailing over the cross bar and into the car park. Some things can only be learned through experience, and J. Ploteau should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting lechia a goal with 76 minutes of the match played. Debloos claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

The most dominating Debloos player was without a doubt M. Ziemnicki. On the other hand, C. Waryszak's play was disheartening. lechia's best player was M. Kącki. E. Gianquitto on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 5.
