Savino looked great 3 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' S. Wolferstätter. 26 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Hvar to take the lead after a good cross from the right found D. Guidorzi alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Hvar took the lead after 33 minutes as a result of V. Della Casa's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. F. Perez Vazquez should probably have put his team up another goal after 43 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by W. Meerbusch kept the visitors in the game. J. Balinski's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. Hvar's A. Turrini had an excellent opportunity after 44 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! It was 1 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Hvar, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

After 53 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by G. Pazzaglia might have resulted in another goal for Hvar. However, W. Meerbusch made a spectacular save. Coming from the right, D. Guidorzi almost managed to score another goal for Hvar, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Hvar's C. Redavid saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 57 minutes. A. Turrini had a fantastic opportunity to put Hvar up another goal 62 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. F. Perez Vazquez could have increased the lead after 75 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Hvar claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

D. Guidorzi performed admirably for Hvar. F. Perez Vazquez turned in a dismal performance, however. lasseln's best player was T. Hüser. C. Puls on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 0.
