Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 3720 at MILDA Arena today. Nikola Fiorović was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alvise Belzebù and Fredrik Lennartsson. MILDA decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. Lineup: Illi - Kamenjašević, Turjeman, Šandor, Skroza - Kurashkin, Houweling, Chovan, Olič, Derrien - Heidehof.

A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for peludos. The following players had been chosen: Ribeiro Esteves - Moreira Gonçalves, da Cunha - Hörnander, Peixoto, Gomes Teixeira, Korsbæk, Broche - de Castro, Ramalho, Dennehy.

Today, peludos's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. After 6 minutes of play, F. Houweling gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. L. Hörnander made one of his many fine passes from the wing into the middle 34 minutes into the match. W. Dennehy bravely attempted to execute a diving header and the ball was met firmly with his forehead for peludos. 1 - 1. After 43 minutes, F. Houweling came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving MILDA the lead. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by MILDA, with 71 percent of the ball.

With 55 minutes played, MILDA put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Š. Skroza, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. C. da Cunha behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 61 minutes as he gave the ball away to B. Heidehof. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Encouraged by their lead, after 63 minutes the MILDA coach asked B. Šandor to change positions with Š. Skroza. MILDA put themselves up 4 - 1 when Š. Skroza broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. With 82 minutes played, B. Heidehof of MILDA fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. MILDA's V. Kurashkin got himself booked for a foul. MILDA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 70 percent.

MILDA's best player was J. Derrien. Š. Skroza on the other hand, had a terrible day. peludos's top performer was clearly N. de Castro. However, C. da Cunha made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 1.
