Thighs bulging, P. Borowiński charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to F. Bosse, but the Connection player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Connection's J. Vitores saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 35 minutes. H. Dobos of Connection received a yellow card after 36 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. G. Strohschehn increased the lead for Connection to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Connection had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

PumaRulez kept trying to force their way through on the right side and B. Jaczewski got his chance after 57 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. With 74 minutes played, Connection's H. Dobos almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. J. Grimmeisen left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. K. Krogslund Andersen was the replacement. Possession in this half belonged to Connection, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

Connection's top performer was clearly F. Bosse. R. Raguth was a disappointment, however. V. Paşca performed admirably for PumaRulez. However, K. Lotka made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 0.
