E. Hami could have put Dynamo up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 74 minutes. After 88 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by F. Cruceanu might have resulted in another goal for Dynamo. However, G. Kervan made a spectacular save. COMPAQ almost scored after a swift counterattack 89 minutes into the game, but N. Văn Được put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. Dynamo claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.

The most dominating Dynamo player was without a doubt J. Grøn. On the other hand, F. Cruceanu's play was disheartening. COMPAQ's top performer was clearly W. Nafzinger. However, M. Granli made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 0.
