(394035807)

14-08-2012 18.30
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 2233 to
Voßheide.
Tue Khan was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Steve Brinkley and
Emmanuel Katz.
Suttorf tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
The following players took the field: Venegas - Hernández, Østrem, Gamradt - Vasković, Engstler, Janson, Spielberger - Altheim, Stoichkov, Regulski.
RSCA started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
They fielded: Špalek - Mentens, Vernimmen, Näpänkangas, Madec - Saydam, Vanderbist, Ben, Nostitz - Nachtergaele, Luga.
Suttorf used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings.
RSCA saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
As the 1 minute mark approached, the Suttorf coach decided it was time for a substitution.
L. Janson reluctantly made way for
G. Collinet on the pitch.
Suttorf took the lead 17 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as
L. Regulski elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar.
After 30 minutes, following yet another great corner,
M. Hernández's flick on at the near post reached
H. Gamradt, who was just wide with his snapshot - the ball went out for a goal kick.
I. Stoichkov of Suttorf was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
With 34 minutes played,
H. Gamradt of Suttorf fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
R. Engstler squirmed through their central defence after 35 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
It was 2 - 0 at the break.
Suttorf had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.
Suttorf's
N. Vasković was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 57 minutes.
Suttorf were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
78 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
L. Regulski broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Suttorf.
The visitors got one back when
E. Näpänkangas finished off a pass from the left and scored after 80 minutes. 3 - 1 was the score.
It was obvious that team Suttorf had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Suttorf's
I. Stoichkov increasing the lead to 4 - 1.
Suttorf enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.
G. Collinet performed admirably for Suttorf.
However,
M. Hernández made a disastrous appearance.
RSCA's best player was
R. Nachtergaele.
B. Vernimmen was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 4 - 1.
