Confident in their lead, Bohne's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. K. Rasgorschek of Bohne took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 29 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. Weingarten's J. Sprenkelers had the ball at his feet in front of goal after a quickly taken free kick after 34 minutes, but was robbed of it in the blink of an eye by an onrushing defender. It was 0 - 4 at the break. Bohne had most of the ball, with 69 percent of possession.

The visitors added to their lead 47 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Bohne's K. Rasgorschek slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 5. That made three goals for K. Rasgorschek and he was marked down for the hat trick. After 54 minutes of play, the free-spirited J. Madariaga decided to go for goal as he struck the ball from the corner of the pitch. The ball hit a defender in the face and bounced out of play. With 60 minutes played, Bohne put themselves up 0 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was K. Meeuwis. Given a free kick close to the byline, Bohne tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let H. Priehler slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 7, 77 minutes into the game. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 78 minutes, Bohne tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. V. Niittumaa received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 79 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 8. The Bohne fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Bohne, with 70 percent of the ball.
