Making his way up the middle 6 minutes into the match, A. Gutiérrez de León almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert M. Dal Molin blocked it to keep the score level. After 7 minutes of play, A. Carvalho Morais gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Refkes's F. Fiumani of Refkes seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 4 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by M. Grant. OldFirm1893 fought on and, after 80 minutes, A. Loi was able to reduce the deficit to 4 - 1 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. Possession in this half belonged to Refkes, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

The most dominating Refkes player was without a doubt T. Arys. However, B. Rozga made a disastrous appearance. F. Hermouet performed admirably for OldFirm1893. L. Bongiorno turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
