previous 10/10 next 2/10  FcCAltishofen 5 - 1 Snaphanerne (394051821)

Dark skies made the crowd of 3233 at Tannacker a little nervous, but the rain held off. Jussi Pyöräniemi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Biel Adroher and Jason Kelly. FcCAltishofen had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation. They fielded: Würsten - Ezinga, De Girolamo, Müller, Rußbüldt - Paddeu, Olmedo, Langlais, Bertozzi, Arenas - Noyce.

Snaphanerne started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Panaretos - Wagner, Trung Nhâm, Beldal - Michelsen, Storm Jensen, Tran, Solberg, Gunnarsson - Wittendorff, Palludan.

It was obvious that FcCAltishofen were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. With 6 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as M. Rußbüldt flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. C. Noyce of FcCAltishofen seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by G. Paddeu. Confident in their lead, FcCAltishofen's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Snaphanerne's N. Trung Nhâm was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 26 minutes. The visitors got one back when E. Gunnarsson finished off a pass from the left and scored after 27 minutes. 2 - 1 was the score. Things were deteriorating for the away team as FcCAltishofen scored another to make it 3 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for M. De Girolamo after 28 minutes. FcCAltishofen's R. Olmedo got himself booked for a foul. Snaphanerne's A. Tran went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. FcCAltishofen enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

With 59 minutes played, M. De Girolamo of FcCAltishofen fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. N. Langlais could have put FcCAltishofen up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 71 minutes. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in FcCAltishofen's G. Paddeu increasing the lead to 4 - 1. R. Storm Jensen behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 87 minutes as he gave the ball away to N. Langlais. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. The score became 5 - 1 at 88 minutes into the game, when FcCAltishofen were given a penalty which G. Paddeu blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! FcCAltishofen had most of the ball, with 71 percent of possession.

The most dominating FcCAltishofen player was without a doubt G. Paddeu. J. Würsten was a disappointment, however. Snaphanerne's best player was E. Gunnarsson. S. Solberg on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 1.
