Cambré had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the KVVV player a red card without batting an eyelid. LATINO were forced into a substitution as H. Wery couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing R. Ortuño to come in off the bench. Đ. Hanh's speed was clear to see after 77 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released B. Blauwaert who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 1 - 0. A. Elespuru unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. After 79 minutes, the defensive line of LATINO created a counterattack through the middle that gave B. Garcia a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. The LATINO coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. M. Aldariz received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 84 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. KVVV enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

KVVV's best player was A. Elespuru. J. Rienzi turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating LATINO player was without a doubt B. Garcia. However, F. San Roman made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 0.
