Dark skies made the crowd of 2411 at Camp Nou a little nervous, but the rain held off. Paco Tomas Hernandez was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kim Bank-Nielsen and Clemens Amann. Dizel's F. Karitonas managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 3 minutes. 0 - 1. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, D. Płoch got himself booked. The manager of Viola was not happy. After 15 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed K. Reinicke to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by Dizel's G. Spensieri put the visitors up 0 - 3 after 27 minutes. Dizel's G. Spensieri made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 28 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The referee showed Viola's Z. Özdilek the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Viola's V. Horník made use of his speed to get free of the defence, but he still couldn't get a shot off 30 minutes into the match. L. Müller-Hüwen could have put his team up another goal 31 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Dizel enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 79 percent of possession.

Given a free kick close to the byline, Dizel tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let K. Reinicke slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 4, 52 minutes into the game. V. Horník of Viola was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish S. Ceneroni, which resulted in a goal making the score 1 - 4. The home crowd was not impressed when S. Ceneroni came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 54 minutes. Dizel were now up 1 - 5. L. Müller-Hüwen received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 63 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 6. The Dizel fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Dizel lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. With 70 minutes played, Dizel put themselves up 1 - 7 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was K. Reinicke. That made three goals for K. Reinicke and he was marked down for the hat trick. 78 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 8 as E. Gil Camuñas finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Dizel had most of the ball, with 83 percent of possession.

The most dominating Viola player was without a doubt T. Békés. On the other hand, Z. Özdilek's play was disheartening. Most important Dizel player was L. Müller-Hüwen. However, F. Karitonas made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 8.
