Dark skies made the crowd of 1021 at Loko Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Leo Saarenpää was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bruno Santoro and Erling Munck Mikkelsen. Loko had chosen a strategic 3-4-2 formation. They fielded: Motoc - Coll, Atkins, Poukkonen - Hamami, Chiabrera, Geleit, Ivarsson - Rizzoni, Galeano.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Insects06. Lineup: Guillot - Papell, Cherry, Mihov - Althauser, Sirico, Evans, Raithe, Vasilić - Upla, Gervasoni.

Insects06 seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. It was obvious that team Insects06 had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. The visiting J. Upla was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 21 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. After 25 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for S. Gervasoni who increased Insects06's lead to 0 - 2. After this, you could see that the players of Insects06 were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 36 minutes in, Loko appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. The home crowd was not impressed when C. Evans came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 37 minutes. Insects06 were now up 0 - 3. Loko's B. Atkins was shown a yellow card after 40 minutes for slicing down an opponent. J. Upla received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 44 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Insects06 fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. J. Upla of Insects06 took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 44 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 5. This third goal completed a hattrick for J. Upla. 44 minutes into the game, Loko had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to weak. Halftime score was 0 - 5. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Insects06, with 67 percent of the ball.

During the break, Loko's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. After 53 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed B. Althauser to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 6. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Insects06, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. After 58 minutes, Insects06's D. Papell burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7. Insects06's V. Vasilić was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 59 minutes. The visitors' S. Gervasoni took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 71 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for Insects06. Some fine movement on the left led to a Insects06 goal after 78 minutes, making it 0 - 9. S. Gervasoni was noted down as the scorer. By then S. Gervasoni had scored three goals - a hat trick! 80 minutes into the game, Loko seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. Insects06 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 69 percent of possession.

J. Ivarsson performed admirably for Loko. R. Poukkonen on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Insects06 player was without a doubt D. Papell. J. Cherry was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 9.
