Vukan charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for Numis, but the shot went well wide of the goal. With 39 minutes played, V. Toš of Numis fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Numis's L. Kokkonen's long shot really ought to have found the net 40 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. U. Cotto was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for Numis with a strike from the left, but A. Guzmán managed to ward the shot off for a corner. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Numis had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

After 48 minutes, Numis used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. Given a free kick close to the byline, Numis tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let U. Cotto slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 1 - 1, 58 minutes into the game. Tractors's M. Tavolaro got himself booked for a foul. P. Dam knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 1 - 2 after 76 minutes. The Numis coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. As the game started to slip away for Numis, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. W. Damerji of Tractors took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 79 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Tractors lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The Numis players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. 谢. 聪成 (Congcheng) did everything he could to get one back for his Numis, but keeper A. Guzmán denied him with a spectacular block. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, U. Cotto got himself booked. The manager of Numis was not happy. Numis claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

Numis's top performer was clearly L. Kokkonen. On the other hand, N. Hämäri's play was disheartening. Most important Tractors player was A. Guzmán. T. Isola turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
