After 15 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed F. Sbomperti to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Revolucija lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 17 minutes into the match, putting Revolucija ahead 0 - 4. F. Sbomperti was the scorer. By then F. Sbomperti had scored three goals - a hat trick! Revolucija came close to extending their lead as E. Contreras delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 29 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. There was concern in the stands when, at the 35 minute mark, Revolucija's N. Jacquot hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Alcatraz, with 53 percent of the ball.

The Alcatraz players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. González Cuenia managed a superb strike from the left after 46 minutes that would have left goalkeeper J. Pinga without a chance, had it not hit the post. The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when K. Azadi scored after a brilliant midfield combination through the centre, reducing the lead to 1 - 4. After 54 minutes, Alcatraz's U. Amenabar fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! Alcatraz's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 64 minutes into the match as G. Askenmo ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 2 - 4. The Revolucija players could smell victory in the air. F. Fornaro wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for M. Wolmar after 70 minutes. Possession in this half belonged to Alcatraz, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

The most dominating Alcatraz player was without a doubt S. González Cuenia. However, O. Šlégr made a disastrous appearance. H. Brown performed admirably for Revolucija. M. Wolmar on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 4.
