Clear skies welcomed the 2862 spectators who had made their way to suffers stand. Hugo Hoeft was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Michal Geci and Moreno Rivera. There was concern in the stands when, at the 26 minute mark, Suffers's É. Brillaud hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Suffers fans held their breath as A. Pessach scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! Fossatone had a chance to level the score as I. Di Nucci suddenly found himself free in the middle of the box with only the keeper to beat, but he misjudged the finish, and only managed to hit the bar. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Fossatone claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

B. Zbíral hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Suffers's A. Terzi an easy chance to knock it in for 2 - 0. By now, the players in Suffers felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Fossatone certainly deserved a goal after some stunning play down the left, but I. Di Nucci just wasn't able to finish. Suffers played a good counterattacking move down the left 63 minutes into the match, with B. Zbíral finishing well for 3 - 0. D. Markevich of Fossatone received a yellow card after 64 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. It was almost a goal for Fossatone following B. Rein's good header after a corner, it went just over the bar though. 70 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as D. Stepper broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Suffers. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave T. Muellenbach from Suffers a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 76 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 82 minutes in, Fossatone's J. Henry received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Fossatone had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

Most important Suffers player was B. Zbíral. On the other hand, A. Pessach's play was disheartening. Fossatone's top performer was clearly A. Coyhuepán. S. Zamanopoulos on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 0.
