The crowd of 655 turning up at Jambo Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Ismael Moreno was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ginters Vērsis and Onésimo Marquitos. Dschungelbande started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Pressing was the tactic of the day for EAM. The visiting C. Nellemose was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 2 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. EAM's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. The rain made it hard for players like C. Taffetani to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. A. Borcker came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over 薛. 轩伦 (Xuanlun) but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. With 43 minutes played, T. Vybíhal of Dschungelbande fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Some things can only be learned through experience, and T. Vybíhal should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting EAM a goal with 43 minutes of the match played. A. Borcker received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 44 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The EAM fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 44 minutes, R. Podešva had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for Dschungelbande with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. Dschungelbande's K. Zehlendorf had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 44 minutes having been played. H. Leiler was the replacement. 薛. 轩伦 (Xuanlun) got a fingertip on C. Nellemose's shot from the left 44 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave S. Pfeffer from EAM a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 44 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! H. Leiler's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Dschungelbande, he bravely continued in the match. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by EAM, with 52 percent of the ball.

Still ahead in the game after 50 minutes, EAM made some tactical adjustments. L. Langmeil and O. Dumler swapped positions. After 58 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Č. Kremeň to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. The players of EAM now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Dschungelbande's D. Cornelie was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 59 minutes. The crowd groaned when J. Cristantes, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for Dschungelbande. A lack of experience caused D. Cornelie to make a difficult dribble close to dangerous opponent O. Dumler of EAM, who took the opportunity to score making it 0 - 4. A. Machado was called on to replace Dschungelbande's R. Podešva after 69 minutes following a nasty collision. A. Borcker wanted to play on, but the EAM coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by S. Bogunović. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

Dschungelbande's top performer was clearly J. Cristantes. On the other hand, A. Machado's play was disheartening. L. Langmeil performed admirably for EAM. B. Göttke turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
