A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 3121 to Geonosian foundries arena. Albrecht Schlumpf was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Qabil Sulaiman and Robin Fabian Trepel. Isidd started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Štafa - Klepáček, Denkewitz, Cascavlak - Praszler, Leão, Garita, Farant, Rímini - Tentado, Urban.

Strikers decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. Starters: Recabarren - Puigferrer, Bayr, Bahnsen - Delgado, Pietzsch, Leeuwerik, Löben - Mcdonald, Sanders, Esqueda.

Slack defending gave Isidd a chance to take the lead with 12 minutes played, but S. Farant's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 19 minutes into the match, and E. Leeuwerik wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. J. Štafa got a fingertip on M. Esqueda's shot from the left 23 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 28 minutes, Strikers did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, M. Mcdonald was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 2. A drive down the left side allowed M. Mcdonald to get in close and score another goal for Strikers after 31 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Isidd enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

With 51 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed M. Esqueda of Strikers to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 4. At 60 minutes into the game, Isidd's T. Cascavlak deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 4. Isidd had to make a substitution after 63 minutes. J. Štafa limped off the field and was replaced by N. Nicolae. M. Mcdonald of Strikers was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish C. Denkewitz, which resulted in a goal making the score 1 - 5. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for M. Mcdonald. L. Delgado could have put his team up another goal 74 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. After 79 minutes A. Rímini could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors' keeper. 81 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 6 as W. Bayr finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. By now, the players in Strikers felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Isidd's A. Leão had a nice free kick routine after 83 minutes that was very close to paying off, had it not been for a dramatic save by the visitors' keeper. With the scoreboard showing that 84 minutes had been played, Strikers nearly put themselves up another goal after M. Esqueda came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Possession in this half belonged to Strikers, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

The most dominating Isidd player was without a doubt T. Cascavlak. On the other hand, T. Praszler's play was disheartening. Strikers's best player was M. Mcdonald. However, R. Recabarren made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 6.
