Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 3061 to The Sphere Pool. Miguel Juan Sardá was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Serkan Bosum and Muhammad Hadad. Aurochs started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Van De Putte - Önol, Moscardino, Watts - Pytel, Frexa, Zwart, Cappelle, Rothmann - Saviniemi, Neves.

Tornados06 had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players took the field: Mosiman - Mouritsen, Pradier, Vareille - Mistral, Bellanger, Caini, Cluzel, Martinez - Thenikl, Lucas.

Aurochs made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left H. Önol completely alone with keeper E. Mosiman, who made a spectacular block. The guests almost went up by a goal after 10 minutes when A. Thenikl came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. After a fine move down the middle A. Pytel nearly gave the home side a goal after 17 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. With the clock showing 18 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Tornados06 resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by Y. Cluzel in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. The terraces were silenced after 26 minutes when Tornados06's C. Lucas put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. H. Önol made a superb strike after 27 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. E. Pradier received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 27 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Aurochs claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

J. Bellanger of Tornados06 was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave G. Moscardino from Aurochs a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 74 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! P. Mouritsen's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Tornados06, he bravely continued in the match. A handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty 81 minutes into the match, and A. Watts was able to score, taking the scoreline to 1 - 1. Tornados06's Y. Cluzel was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 82 minutes. 85 minutes in, Aurochs's J. Cappelle received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The most controversial moment of the game was likely the penalty given after 86 minutes. Tornados06's A. Thenikl kept his concentration, despite the upset crowd, and calmly put the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Aurochs, with 57 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Aurochs player was without a doubt Ó. Frexa. G. Moscardino was a disappointment, however. Tornados06's top performer was clearly E. Caini. However, P. Mistral made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 2.
