Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 3114 at Elorrieta Arena today. Elmer Romakkaniemi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Rafael Ejea and Alexandre Dias Brandão. Futbol decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Drigstrup had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Starters: Breiner - Davidsen, Rubinke, Bæk - Poulsen, Vodsgaard, Foldgast, Spangberg, Rosenberg - Udesen, Riber.

Drigstrup seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 3 minutes allowed F. Spangberg to score for Drigstrup. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. L. Rubinke showed his inexperience when he failed to anticipate the bounce of a high ball, allowing Futbol's T. Camón to take advantage and place a shot into the bottom corner of the goal. 1 - 1. With 28 minutes played A. Malaver almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. The referee showed Futbol's X. Liboreiro the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. In a fantastic display of determination, Drigstrup's N. Bæk forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 33 minutes into the match left Drigstrup's F. Poulsen completely free to score. 1 - 2 for the visitors. B. Udesen received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 35 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The Drigstrup fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Confident in their lead, Drigstrup's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After 40 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for F. Spangberg who increased Drigstrup's lead to 1 - 4. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Futbol's R. Nussbaumer somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for B. Regadas, who struck for 2 - 4. It was 2 - 4 at the break. Drigstrup claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

The Drigstrup players could smell victory in the air. P. Breiner wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for R. Bedsted after 46 minutes. The coach of Drigstrup was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, F. Lunde came on for L. Rubinke. The visitors' F. Poulsen took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 58 minutes into the match. 2 - 5 for Drigstrup. With 67 minutes played, F. Lunde nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. 71 minutes into the game, K. Foldgast had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came R. Frahm. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from R. Frahm after 76 minutes, and prevented Drigstrup from going up another goal. Drigstrup enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Futbol's best player was A. Malaver. However, B. Regadas made a disastrous appearance. Drigstrup's top performer was clearly M. Riber. On the other hand, F. Lunde's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 5.
