(394195387)

23-08-2012 02.00
Clear skies welcomed the 2002 spectators who had made their way to
Idilio Stadium.
Mugurel Mândrutã was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Sebastiano Bonetti and
Ricky Mota Prado.
Idilio tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Figueredo - Zurita, Andrade, Brewe - Calero, Pérez Prado, Isaundariaga, Barradas, Ornelas - Cuerno, Briz.
Viesulas decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Figueroa - Löfroos, Becquet, Hadžič - Maškovas, Peschkel, Monteiro, Gazel, Backūnas - Ulmanis, Johannessen.
Idilio took a creative approach on the field.
After 7 minutes, Viesulas's
L. Peschkel made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1.
L. Peschkel of Viesulas took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 11 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2.
Had it not been for one of the home defenders,
D. Johannessen would have put Viesulas up another goal 13 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing.
Halftime score was 0 - 2.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Viesulas, with 67 percent of the ball.
Viesulas's
Y. Becquet made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 51 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line.
Idilio's
J. Briz got himself booked for a foul.
Idilio's
J. Ornelas finished emphatically to make the score 1 -2 after 74 minutes, after the enigmatic
A. Isaundariaga pulled a delightful long pass from his box of tricks to bypass the defence.
Viesulas increased the lead to 1 - 3 as
T. Hadžič scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner.
Confident in their lead, Viesulas's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Viesulas's
N. Monteiro was shown a yellow card after 82 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
B. Barradas behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 83 minutes as he gave the ball away to
N. Monteiro. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
Several players were looking tired, especially
J. Löfroos who gifted the opposition a goal as he lost the ball to a still energetic
S. Cuerno of Idilio after 85 minutes. 2 - 3
86 minutes into the match, Idilio's
A. Isaundariaga maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 3 - 3.
A. Figueredo looked great 87 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'
N. Monteiro.
Viesulas had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.
Most important Idilio player was
T. Pérez Prado.
However,
B. Barradas made a disastrous appearance.
Viesulas's best player was
N. Monteiro.
T. Hadžič turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 3.
