Dark skies made the crowd of 1484 at Estádio Sistema a little nervous, but the rain held off. Kimmo Puttonen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Caius Ionescu and Gijs Suijkerbuijk. K. Zdebel came close to putting the visiting team one up 27 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but N. Einarsson managed to tip the ball to a corner. Sistema's G. Romero tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. MU_Ryan's counterattack was impressive and was only stopped by a shocking foul. Somehow, the referee's cards remained in his pocket - a terrible decision! I. Hadji's resulting free kick was easily saved by the keeper. After 43 minutes Á. da Silva made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to R. Ulfsson who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 1 - 0. With 44 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after B. Baetsen came through the middle, but his kick went wide. It was 1 - 0 at the break. MU_Ryan claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

I. Hadji came close to levelling the score 56 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. A. Campeggi behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 59 minutes as he gave the ball away to V. Josífek. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Sistema scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for E. Maxhera after 62 minutes. After 78 minutes, I. Hadji chose the right corner while taking his penalty, humiliating the home keeper, who dived in the wrong direction. The goal reduced the home lead to 2 - 1. MU_Ryan had to manage with a reduced squad after 80 minutes, as B. Baetsen got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. J. Linderhof tied the game at 2 - 2 after 85 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. Possession in this half belonged to MU_Ryan, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Still tied after 90 minutes, the match continued into extra time. A questionable penalty 92 minutes in gave the home side the lead, 3 - 2. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as G. Romero knocked the ball home. With that Sistema had won the game in extra time. Sistema's top performer was clearly R. Ulfsson. Á. da Silva turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating MU_Ryan player was without a doubt V. Josífek. J. Linderhof was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
