(394209445)

22-08-2012 08.00
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 1024 to
Riazor.
Marvin Gordon Kapala was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Massimo Bello and
Nicolae Florea.
DeportivoLaCoruna started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Calles - Yurin, Roblot, Udovenko - Molares, Cioffarelli, Schimek, Hotvedt, Pin - Durusu, Urdu.
Zlin tactics involved an interesting 5-3-2 combination.
Lineup: Nicole - Niclasen, Bosie, Jelk, Del Sorbo, Šenk - Bacino, Skopový, McCauley - Dikarev, Ritzerfeld.
Going for long shots seemed to be the strategy in use by Zlin.
A counterattack by Zlin after 31 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but
W. Ritzerfeld, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off.
The referee showed Zlin's
O. Jelk the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
0 - 0 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Zlin, with 52 percent of the ball.
DeportivoLaCoruna's
E. Hotvedt got himself booked for a foul.
In a fantastic display of determination, Zlin's
N. Nicole forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down.
55 minutes into the game, Zlin seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
inadequate level of organisation.
After 72 minutes, DeportivoLaCoruna's
R. Cioffarelli fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit!
DeportivoLaCoruna's
H. Schimek was shown a yellow card after 80 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
81 minutes into the game, Zlin had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
inadequate.
H. Schimek received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 82 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
R. Del Sorbo of Zlin was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
DeportivoLaCoruna were awarded a penalty 84 minutes into the game but
E. Urdu produced a poor shot, quite easily saved by
N. Nicole.
Zlin had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.
As neither team had managed to win, extra time was called.
During the break, Zlin's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to
solid organisation.
A questionable penalty 96 minutes in gave the home side the lead, 1 - 0. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as
E. Urdu knocked the ball home.
Game over, DeportivoLaCoruna win!
The most dominating DeportivoLaCoruna player was without a doubt
E. Urdu.
On the other hand,
F. Calles's play was disheartening.
Zlin's top performer was clearly
P. Skopový.
W. Ritzerfeld on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 1 - 0.
