(394232546)

21-08-2012 20.30
It had rained all day, but 1956 hardy fans still made it out to
Das ÜberSpieler Stadion.
Christian Genevois was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Alois Vrubelevsky and
Mickaël Chapelle.
Bubi tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Kammer - Landau, Gafni, Rappaport - Oscar, Blum, Snitkovsky, Stern, Kadosh - Michaeli, Oscar.
Krabbenheim decided to use a 4-5-1 set up.
Lineup: 康慈 (Kangci) - Yenilmeztürk, Hammerschlag, Plapper, Frickenhausen - van Oven, Sperlinga, Ispas, Podmaniczky, Brekke - Moser.
Krabbenheim were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
Bubi's
G. Kammer left the field after 5 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
D. Gavrilenko.
The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but
F. Frickenhausen showed great heart and had a good game.
Bubi's
A. Snitkovsky got himself booked for a foul.
Bubi fans held their breath as
M. Michaeli scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0!
Krabbenheim had to make a substitution after 26 minutes.
R. Sperlinga limped off the field and was replaced by
T. Linardon.
A. Stern was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions.
With 39 minutes played,
B. Podmaniczky of Krabbenheim fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Bubi's
M. Michaeli increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
2 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Bubi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 81 percent.
After 63 minutes,
A. Stern put Bubi ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
B. Yenilmeztürk of Krabbenheim received a yellow card after 64 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Bubi's
B. Kadosh's long shot really ought to have found the net 70 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target.
Cheers filled the stadium as
S. Oscar broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to Bubi.
The players of Bubi now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
It was a bad day for the usually speedy
B. Kadosh. The mud seemed to slow him down.
With 80 minutes played, Bubi's
A. Blum almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
After 83 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
Y. Landau gave the Bubi supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 0.
Possession in this half belonged to Bubi, who controlled the ball 82 percent of the time.
Bubi's best player was
D. Gavrilenko.
On the other hand,
M. Rappaport's play was disheartening.
Krabbenheim's top performer was clearly
M. Moser.
However,
B. Podmaniczky made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 5 - 0.
