A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 1411 to Old Trafford. Arend Naan was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Lluís Verano and Miikka Toivola. Chmiel saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Today, Gródek's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. The referee showed Gródek's J. Strijdonck the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The sun seemed to put A. Miranda in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. Gródek almost scored after a counterattack 25 minutes into the match, but K. Deskos took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Gródek had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. The terraces were silenced after 33 minutes when Gródek's A. Miranda put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. Chmiel's A. Ochoński had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 37 minutes having been played. P. Dueñas was the replacement. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

A. Cieszkowski didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play. With the scoreboard showing that 52 minutes had been played, Gródek nearly put themselves up another goal after A. Miranda came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. 72 minutes into the match, Chmiel's P. Dueñas maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. With 75 minutes played, M. Seremet of Chmiel fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Gródek's M. Naskali after 86 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 1 - 2 lead. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Chmiel, with 54 percent of the ball.

Chmiel's best player was C. Podlewski. A. Cieszkowski turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Gródek player was F. Merchel. M. Bevan was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 2.
