Dynamo 2 - 2 Témperley
(394261371)

21-08-2012 19.15
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 3171 at
Fratelli Gigante today.
Şükrü Esinay was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jens Thum and
Bangys Barakūnas.
Dynamo started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
Starters: Faulkner - Draetta, Mazzola, Nipoti, Giampaoli - Tambasco, Flo, Rahmati, Mitea - Cavallo, Filattiera.
Témperley tactics involved an interesting 5-4-1 combination.
Lineup: Merrall - Sosa, Martinotta, Barrueto, Belloso, Adolfsson - Peralta, Damonte, Vakouftsis, Stachnik - Nešetřil.
It was an obvious ambition of Dynamo to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
F. Giampaoli of Dynamo received a yellow card after 31 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
The most controversial moment of the game was likely the penalty given after 32 minutes. Témperley's
J. Nešetřil kept his concentration, despite the upset crowd, and calmly put the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 1.
Players in Dynamo heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead.
37 minutes into the match, Dynamo's
E. Draetta maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1.
A. Belloso's lack of experience almost gave Dynamo a goal after 42 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms.
44 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but
P. Adolfsson, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide.
After 44 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Dynamo was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1.
Témperley had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.
Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 47 minutes into the match, and
J. Nešetřil wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 1 - 2 for the visitors.
Témperley's
G. Barrueto got himself booked for a foul.
Dynamo's
F. Filattiera proved that he's been around on a football pitch before, when he took advantage of a few moments of confusion in the opposition's defensive line and elegantly scored for 2 - 2.
G. Barrueto had a good opportunity to give Témperley the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save.
After 80 minutes, the visitors nearly went up a goal, but
J. Nešetřil's free kick hit the crossbar.
Dynamo's counterattack was impressive and was only stopped by a shocking foul. Somehow, the referee's cards remained in his pocket - a terrible decision!
B. Nipoti's resulting free kick was easily saved by the keeper.
Témperley claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.
Most important Dynamo player was
F. Filattiera.
V. Flo turned in a dismal performance, however.
Témperley's top performer was clearly
I. Vakouftsis.
G. Barrueto on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 2 - 2.
