The coach of Sporting was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, V. Borůvka came on for M. The Sporting free kick 70 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of A. Against a lesser team, Sporting could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 77 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. Unfortunately for klimbox, C. Rouxel suffered a concussion after 79 minutes and had to be taken for tests. The coach had his head in his hands after realising he could not send a replacement onto the pitch, and the team had to continue a man short. Sporting had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.
