Due to an all-day shower, 2911 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Gufalons. Per Hörmo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Olli-Pekka Masalin and Ruud-Jan Hillerts. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Trübbach. Trübbach clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. Stafsinge mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. 19 minutes in, Trübbach's S. Duque received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. As the 20 minute mark approached, the Stafsinge coach decided it was time for a substitution. H. Camiño reluctantly made way for J. Mathiasson on the pitch. Unfortunately for Stafsinge, J. Mathiasson was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. G. Sanderson replaced him. The terraces were silenced after 27 minutes when Stafsinge's F. Armezzani put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit S. Duque just fine. A well placed corner kick from S. Verlangen was followed by C. Lucchi's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Stafsinge, the score now 0 - 2. 39 minutes into the game, S. Duque had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came D. Vanier. D. Vanier was the new captain of Trübbach - handed the armband by the departing player. After 42 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Trübbach's A. Paganini being carried off the pitch and replaced by F. Estellés. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave N. Oikkonen from Stafsinge a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 43 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 0 - 2 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Trübbach, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

H. Klinckenberg fired a shot from distance after 49 minutes, but the long shot couldn't find the net for Stafsinge. Trübbach didn't give in and with 64 minutes played M. Lantai was able to make the score 1 - 2 after an attack on the right. With 67 minutes having been played, Trübbach scored to make it 2 - 2. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but G. Monaco was marked down as the scorer. The referee showed Stafsinge's C. Lucchi the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 72 minutes into the match and the home team took a 3 - 2 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Trübbach was W. Scheider. With 84 minutes played, the Stafsinge coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. J. Torras came on, F. Armezzani had to leave the fray. The Stafsinge captaincy was handed to J. Torras. Trübbach enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Trübbach's top performer was clearly F. Estellés. G. Barnaud was a disappointment, however. Most important Stafsinge player was S. Verlangen. R. Sironen on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 2.
