Almeida picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper. vettige's opponents know to be wary of R. Léonard's speed, but it made little difference as he flew past the defence 25 minutes into the game. Only the keeper could stop him - and he did with a perfectly timed dive! 32 minutes into the game, vettige seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Cusco, with 58 percent of the ball.

The vettige players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. After 49 minutes, vettige's R. Léonard swiftly ran past M. Bigode and nutmegged the keeper! 1 - 2. vettige's R. Léonard made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 59 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. With 63 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Y. Kouris of vettige to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of vettige were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. J. Abreu Gonçalves got a fingertip on G. Gardon's shot from the left 78 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Cusco enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

Cusco's top performer was clearly M. Lemos. J. Crispim was a disappointment, however. vettige's best player was R. Tampère. On the other hand, R. Léonard's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 3.
