Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 2033 to Waterfooting. Claus Kleine was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Adam Mckee and David Galperin. Waterfoot decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Gordin - Freire, Darłak, Thies - Vallespir, Konetzke, Sucriloz, Billdahl, Dietesheim - Cerqueira, Stan.

LTRFC started off with a 3-3-2 lineup. The following players took the field: González Pezuela - Romà, Brannetti, Micu - Cerrageria, Pi y Margall, Morales - Pfanner, Mejías Ruiz.

Waterfoot took the lead 3 minutes in, as C. Stan broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. 11 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as H. Billdahl broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Waterfoot. 21 minutes in, LTRFC appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. With 27 minutes played, Waterfoot put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to C. Stan, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Waterfoot lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 28 minutes into the game, LTRFC seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to weak. Waterfoot's A. Thies increased the lead to 4 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 32 minutes. Waterfoot put in a good effort on the right, but P. Darłak saw his volley fly wide of the mark 35 minutes into the game. 39 minutes into the game, B. Morales had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came K. Šindel. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Waterfoot, who controlled the ball 79 percent of the time.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of LTRFC was able to get his message across, and raised LTRFC's organisation to passable. D. Cerqueira wanted to play on, but the Waterfoot coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by R. Begly. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Waterfoot scored another to make it 5 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for P. Darłak after 49 minutes. LTRFC had to make a substitution after 70 minutes. A. González Pezuela limped off the field and was replaced by S. Izdebski. The LTRFC captaincy was handed to K. Šindel. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Waterfoot's C. Stan increasing the lead to 6 - 0. That made three goals for C. Stan and he was marked down for the hat trick. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave K. Šindel from LTRFC a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 78 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 81 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and I. Freire gave the Waterfoot supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 7 - 0. M. Vallespir unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Waterfoot claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 78 percent.

Waterfoot's top performer was clearly M. Vallespir. M. Gordin was a disappointment, however. Most important LTRFC player was S. Izdebski. However, N. Mejías Ruiz made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 7 - 0.
