Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 1078 at El Templo today. Vurnon van der Gracht was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Francisco Falabella and Marius Serban. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Sichupanboys. The following players had been chosen: Buchert - Ambrosetti, Tănăsoiu, Machuca - Frosta, Seguel, Tocantins, Barrera - Alinco, Hurko, Voinea.

Animal82 started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Habernigg - Trumpiškis, Geyer, Bančić - Borowczyk, Maresca, Müller-Baum, Aloi, Österander - Faber, Mrlina.

Sichupanboys were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. The guests took the lead 6 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in E. Faber scoring to make it 0 - 1. D. Bančić of Animal82 took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 11 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. C. Maresca behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 31 minutes as he gave the ball away to J. Tocantins. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. With 35 minutes played, Animal82 put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was O. Österander. Confident in their lead, Animal82's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. S. Geyer received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 39 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Animal82 fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. It was 0 - 4 at the break. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

R. Aloi wanted to play on, but the Animal82 coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by J. Feninig. Sichupanboys were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. After 61 minutes, A. Machuca had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for Sichupanboys with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. Animal82 came close to extending their lead as E. Faber delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 63 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. The cannonball from 35 metres by J. Feninig of Animal82 was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

The most dominating Sichupanboys player was without a doubt Q. Alinco. A. Machuca was a disappointment, however. E. Faber performed admirably for Animal82. R. Borowczyk on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 4.
