Di Grancio a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Kroton77 had to make a substitution after 32 minutes. C. Pujol limped off the field and was replaced by F. Bellantone. A. Szabó was very close to giving DHL the lead with an ingenious free kick routine 35 minutes into the match, but the ball just grazed the bar. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 0. DHL claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

The referee showed DHL's T. Simla the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 62 minutes, A. Szabó sent the corner kick right to M. Klapa who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 0! Things were deteriorating for the away team as DHL scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for E. Makridakis after 72 minutes. By now, the players in DHL felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. DHL enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Most important DHL player was E. Makridakis. R. Geltl turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Kroton77 player was without a doubt F. Mandorlato. However, F. Bellantone made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 0.
