Adelman finished off the counterattack of TheDODO from the left rather easily, making the score 0 - 1. The visitors' U. Páez took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 42 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for TheDODO. ADO's M. Burgwal got himself booked for a foul. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. ADO had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

53 minutes in, TheDODO's S. Sijsling received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. E. Lusink of TheDODO took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 61 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. By now, the players in TheDODO felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, TheDODO's K. Adelman somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for J. van den Brakel, who struck for 0 - 4. J. Ebadi received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 74 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The TheDODO fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave K. Adelman from TheDODO a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 75 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! ADO enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

ADO's best player was T. Schenck. On the other hand, Y. van Wetten's play was disheartening. Most important TheDODO player was J. van den Brakel. J. Metsers was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
