Dark skies made the crowd of 2372 at
The Den a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Dan Istudor was the appointed referee with assistance provided by

Lazora started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.

Innenstadt tactics involved an interesting 5-4-1 combination.
The following players took the field: Ernstorfer - Wilson, Klimpel, Simionato, Eransus, Gatter - Martínez, Hammer, Szramek, Campbell - Heudecker.
Innenstadt clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could.
With 7 minutes played,
M. Sbai of Lazora fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
When
C. Cañiza left the game because of a back injury after 8 minutes, Lazora had to continue a man short due to there being no available replacements.
A. Palareti was the new captain of Lazora - handed the armband by the departing player.
Down the middle came
M. Heudecker, making a fantastic play that nearly had Innenstadt take the lead after 10 minutes, but
A. Palareti preserved the tie.
A. Eransus of Innenstadt was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
A. Palareti looked great 23 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'
L. Klimpel.
This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when
M. Heudecker slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against
A. Palareti, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes.
Halftime score was 0 - 0.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Innenstadt, with 55 percent of the ball.
Innenstadt's
J. Martínez gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 59 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
With 61 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
J. Martínez of Innenstadt to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2.
After 72 minutes of game time,
M. Heudecker had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
A. Palareti was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner.
With the scoreboard showing that 73 minutes had been played, Innenstadt nearly put themselves up another goal after
A. Eransus came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save.
Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.
Most important Lazora player was
B. Hadhria.
M. Riveros turned in a dismal performance, however.
M. Heudecker performed admirably for Innenstadt.
J. Hammer on the other hand, had a terrible day.
