D. Monforte behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 17 minutes as he gave the ball away to
R. Zeinolabedini. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 18 minutes, FC.Biolab did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker,
H. Arjmandi was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 0.
28 minutes into the game, FC.Biolab seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
weak level of organisation.
Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Furfanti's
P. Noterman put the ball in the onion bag after 29 minutes to make it 1 - 1.
32 minutes in, FC.Biolab appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
wretched.
FC.Biolab's
H. Hajavi got himself booked for a foul.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1.
Furfanti enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.
During the break, FC.Biolab's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to
inadequate organisation.
As the 46 minute mark approached, the FC.Biolab coach decided it was time for a substitution.
F. Caton reluctantly made way for
K. Akhlaghi Nia on the pitch.
46 minutes into the game, FC.Biolab wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
M. Falkenmayer gave
A. Roshanpajouh a quick hug as he left the field.
After 62 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as FC.Biolab found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
poor.
G. Di Gaudio dispatched a majestic long shot 68 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres.
D. Monforte came close to putting the visiting team one up 75 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but
B. Rashti managed to tip the ball to a corner.
F. Sancristóbal would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
D. Sireus entered the game for Furfanti as the match clock showed 88 minutes.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Furfanti, with 58 percent of the ball.
As neither team was able to break the deadlock before the end of regular play, the teams took to the field again for extra time.
The FC.Biolab players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a
passable organisation when the game started again.
Down the middle came
D. Sireus, making a fantastic play that nearly had Furfanti take the lead after 92 minutes, but
B. Rashti preserved the tie.
FC.Biolab had a good opportunity to take the lead as
H. Arjmandi came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of
S. Bernacca.
Furfanti's
N. Bordone gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 107 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
This put an end to extra time, making Furfanti the winners.
FC.Biolab's best player was
B. Rashti.
R. Zeinolabedini was a disappointment, however.
P. Noterman performed admirably for Furfanti.
G. Di Gaudio turned in a dismal performance, however.
