Dark skies made the crowd of 2554 at
Carrington Ground a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Rinze Bant was the appointed referee with assistance provided by

The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 14 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from
F. Oña Ruiz, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing.
Athletics's
O. Haidinger increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 21 minutes.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Athletics scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
M. Stanek after 27 minutes.
G. Pop behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 30 minutes as he gave the ball away to
D. Kreuzer. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
F. Oña Ruiz almost put Athletics ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide.

D. Kreuzer, who scored for Athletics. 4 - 0
D. Kreuzer of Athletics was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish
G. Murillo, which resulted in a goal making the score 5 - 0.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Athletics lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
The teams went for the halftime break at 5 - 0.
Athletics enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 80 percent of possession.
F. Oña Ruiz could have increased the lead after 66 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
With 84 minutes played, Athletics put themselves up 6 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
D. Kreuzer, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
D. Kreuzer.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Athletics's
D. Kreuzer increasing the lead to 7 - 0.
With 88 minutes played,
İ. Hürel of Çaltılıkspor fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
D. Kreuzer squirmed through their central defence after 88 minutes, increasing the lead to 8 - 0.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Athletics, with 82 percent of the ball.
Athletics's top performer was clearly
M. Krenn.
N. Ribeiro Esteves was a disappointment, however.
Çaltılıkspor's best player was
B. Öztaş.
İ. Hürel on the other hand, had a terrible day.
