It was obvious that C.A.CALAVERA were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. gilera showed off their creative tactics. H. Burdizzo had a good opportunity to give gilera the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. J. Kujansuu looked great 10 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' G. Geling. C.A.CALAVERA's R. Hamdorf got himself booked for a foul. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of gilera's O. Girard after 22 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. 24 minutes into the game, C.A.CALAVERA had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. After 31 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed G. Ferro to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. After the ball was lifted in from the left, S. Heitz was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 32 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by gilera, with 78 percent of the ball.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of C.A.CALAVERA was able to get his message across, and raised C.A.CALAVERA's organisation to solid. 50 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as T. Nguyen finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. At this point, it was obvious that the players of gilera lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The home crowd was not impressed when S. Heitz came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 57 minutes. gilera were now up 0 - 4. C.A.CALAVERA's counterattacks created a good chance for J. Miglino on the right after 76 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. gilera's C. Fetto showed his experience after 77 minutes, as he expertly set himself up to take advantage of a rebound off the crossbar, but his shot was tipped harmlessly out of the way. The visitors added to their lead 79 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by gilera's S. Heitz slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 5. gilera had to make a substitution after 80 minutes. H. Burdizzo limped off the field and was replaced by M. Balmacedas. F. Pereyra was the new captain of gilera - handed the armband by the departing player. gilera claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 79 percent.

C.A.CALAVERA's best player was B. Hilhorst. L. Nalbandian was a disappointment, however. gilera's top performer was clearly G. Ferro. S. Heitz on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 5.
